This is my go to place for breakfast last week I had the big breakfast three eggs over easy with ham and sausage gravy on the hash browns with toast perfectly prepare and only $7.49 so yummy and filling. On Thursday they have the Go-Kart for the lunch special with real mashed potatoes, gravy and vegetable of the day. Go-Karts have seasoned gound beef, cabbage and onion. So good.

We have breakfast at Tina’s a few times a month. Consistently delicious. The only thing we don’t like is they close early on Saturday and aren’t open on Sunday. #2 is the bestest!!!!!!

NASCAR we have found your shrine at Tinas Cafe in Lincoln. Posters and memorabilia cover almost every square inch of the dining room with both the ceiling and floor covered in black and white checkered finish flag patterns. This was not my first visit and not likely to be my last. They do serve large portions for a decent price including plate sized cinnamon rolls.Im not sure who Tina is, maybe the lady who waited on us, but we found her personable and attentive. Kind of reminded us of small town Nebraska cafe in the big city of Lincoln, complete with the gentleman in cowboy boots and Wranglers sitting at the vintage counter.First, the good things. I mentioned the cinnamon roll. The waitress (Ill call her the waitress since it reminded me of the old time cafe feel, even without the frilly skirt and Flo name tag) said she would heat it up and add butter. Yes there was a microwave and probably margarine blend for the topping, but that didnt detract from soft, gooey, over the top goodness of this masterpiece. Then we ordered breakfast on top of that: two eggs, bacon (4 slices!), hash browns and two blueberry pancakes. Delightful, delightful, delightful. Obviously I couldnt eat it all, but thats not a bad thing.Other good things: big bottle of Tabasco (at the table), Splenda, equal, large old time sugar container and napkins (again, all at the table). In addition, the old time feel of the built-in booths, counter stools and large plastic glasses (but, they are big!).If I could help them change something, I would change the bathroom. One has to walk outside, enter a screen door on the side of the building and find the little door on the left that says bathroom. Its clean, but awkward to get to and the sink is outside the door. It feels like its the head on a small old barge that plies the Missouri River. I suppose its part of the charm. However, what I really wish they had was real butter for the pancakes and real half and half for the coffee. Country Crock and powdered creamer. I know, some people dont like the calories and/or cant do dairy, but I still wish they had the real stuff; that would knock things out of the park.Overall, my WOW experience was probably 3.5 out of 5 stars. Good food, good service and NASCAR! Now if they could get those motor oil scented candles.

Not much for seating. All the ladies working there were not very friendly at all. I felt like they weren’t very happy to be working there. The hashbrowns that everyone was talking about I didn’t care for. They tasted more like mashed and weren’t crispy at all. Very greasy… I ordered the veg. Omelet and it said cheese was one of the ingredients but it came out with 2 slices of sandwich cheese melted on the top. The vegetables that it came with we’re already pre-made, over done and not fresh. We thought we would try Tina’s since we heard it was affordable. Not the case! We can go somewhere else for the same price that is cleaner and a lot better quality of food. We will not be going there again for breakfast.

Tina’s Cafe. I have only been to Tina’s twice, once for breakfast, and the other for lunch, and I totally enjoyed both visits! I especially thought their breakfast was fantastic! Pancakes, bacon, sausages, and eggs were all delicious, and the staff were down home and friendly! I will be sure to visit again!
