Go here to be ignored. My husband and I gave this place its last two chances. The food was fine, nothing different that I can’t get anywhere else in the ironbound. Our last visits were spoiled by the most absolute horrible and most unfriendly service by 2 different waiters. Both had forgotten about us most of the time there. Our last visit was the last straw when my husband had to get up and go to the bar to get our drinks ordered and brought to our table by HIMSELF! Unbelievable that had to happen. NEVER going back EVER!!!12 Jun, 2012Go here to be ignored. My husband and I gave this place its last two chances. The food was fine, nothing different that I can’t get anywhere else in the ironbound. Wonderful authentic Portugese restaurant. Food was amazing and the portions were huge. Biggest calamari I have ever seen! We ordered the appetizer sampler and grilled seafood for two, and it was enough food to feed a small army. Great variety in those two dishes. Sangria went perfectly with the food, and the service was great. Love it!

Not a good choice. Smells Bad. There are many better choices in Newark. The owners wife is nasty and the dining room smells and there are lots of flys. The food was good, but it smells like you are in a bathroom. Go to Iberia or somewhere els.
