  The worst service ever. Decided to try this restaurant for Easter brunch. I would never recommend anyone to eat at this establishment. The service was horrible…. First we were seated at a table with soaking wet chairs… When we told our server her response was well there was a napkin placed in the chair and she doesn’t know where it went. We had to take it upon ourselves to switch chairs so our butts weren’t soaking wet. Next we had to figure out were to go to get the food (was a Buffett brunch), ordered hot tea, got a cup of cold water to make my tea, friend ordered coffee got a cup full of coffee grinds, requested sugar, received a bowl full of water and sugar packets, request our checks, waited 20 minutes to get our check, then our waitress walked passed our table 8 times before retrieving our checks and then had an attitude… When we requested to speak to a manager, they never came to our table. I have dined at various establishments but this has certainly been my worst experience.

  Great Dinners!!!. My husband & I went Aqua’s for the first time. From the moment we walked in we were treated with friendliness & professionalism. Our host Steve seated us & Conner our waiter took over. Our dinners of lobster & filet Mignon were wonderful. The night was great for viewing the water front.We will be returning to Aqua for sure. Great job by everyone. Thank you!!!

  Too expensive for food quality. Husband and I splurge on our anniversary each year at an upscale restaurant. We went to Aqua because we had a gift certificate, and for the prices I’m glad we had one. You’re paying for the service and atmosphere, not the quality of food. The food was very good, but I could have gotten the same quality and service for half the price somewhere else. On our night, the menu mostly had seafood with only one choice each for steak or chicken. The chicken kabobs were very good, but nothing special. Hubby had a seafood platter which he enjoyed, but no WOW. For dessert, we split a slice of the Bananas Foster cheesecake thinking that banana slices would be on top of it. What we got was banana flavored NY style cheese cake with caramel sauce over it. It was okay, but not cheap. The atmosphere is high-end. Not a place to bring small children. Nice for an expensive dinner date. Service was excellent, very attentive, but when we went at 6pm on a Friday, the restaurant was mostly empty. It was a rainy day, so the view of the river didn’t really matter much. Unfortunately, the chair backs on the upper level were very uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait until dinner was over. Needless to say, hubby and I wont’ be back.

  Closed when they accepted reservation!. I had a reservation for Sunday, 4/6/2014 @ 5:30 for restaurant week. They are normally closed on Sundays but on the restaurant week site for Acqua their hours for Sunday were 1-9. We had a party of 5 and I was going with 4 other girlfriends. We had all drove separate as we were coming from different directions and it took about a half hour to get there. When I showed up there were only 2 cars in the parking lot. One of my friends and another party of 3 that also had a reservation for 5:30…only the restaurant was closed!! The other party of 3 called and left a message for Acqua. We were calling around trying to get into somewhere else last minute on a Sunday during restaurant week. I had to call the restaurant 4 times Tuesday and Wednesday to finally get through to a manager. The first couple times I talked to Allie who was very unapologetic and basically said UH sorry the hostess should have called you . I finally spoke with a manager after calling the 4th time and leaving my info twice. And she said we are sorry we aren’t open Sundays this time of the year and offered us nothing. I see why this restaurant has such poor reviews.

  Thanksgiving buffet was great. Delicious fresh and hot food. Outstanding service. It was also affordable. Will return May try the restaurant next.

  Came in last Friday for dinner for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised when I seen they were offering a $20.13 menu that includes 4 courses,and also had a fish fry. First course was a sampling of general tso chicken with fried rice. Delicious. Next we had the pot pie and chowder. Pot pie was great and the chowder was the best I’ve had so far in buffalo. Our entrees were outstanding, the shrimp and scallop linguini was out of this world I loved the cream sauce and everything was cooked to perfection, the pork ribeye with Asian veggies was awesome! Even the sides were great au gratin potatoes and broccolini with roasted red peppers. Service was also great and establishment was clean inviting. I can’t wait to go back

  Awesome!. Saw in Gusto now had fishfrys so decided to give it a try. Take my elderly parents every Friday for fish so thought would give it a try….and so glad we did! My husband ordered a fishfry and my parents always want to split one. I ordered from the 20.13 menu. This started with the chefs Muse which was a general chows like chicken over rice. They brought one for all four of us which we weren’t expecting and was better than any Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been too.Next course I chose a mini chicken pot pie to die for! Main course shrimp & scallops linguine…perfection! Beer batter fish was fresh and not greasy and they split up one for my parents(no extra charge either as some restaurants do). Can’t say one bad thing about the restaurant. Clean, pleasant and everyone very attentive. Awesome Cosmo too. My compliments to the chef and staff!
