Been there a few times already, always had a good time. The service is quick and polite without being too stuffy. They have a good beer selection and their burgers are pretty damn good! I tried the number 5 and the number 8, both were phenomenal! Highly recommended for a good burger and a beer!
Really cool spot. I went with the peanut butter burger which was very good. Service was also excellent. Only negative is price. Most beers average $7 and the burgers run in the $15-$19 range. It’s good, just more than I’m looking to spend for a burger. I’d go back for sure but not in a rush.
Absolutely loved this place! Really cool atmosphere (The music was great!) The beer selection was awesome. As for burgers, I had a Three. The burger and the sides were absolutely delicious. We each got a different side and sampled them. The staff were really friendly and knowledgable. I don’t live in Buffalo but next time I visit I’ll definitely go back.
Super cool place. If you’re looking for a neat bar with great beers and bourbons this is the place. Oh yeah don’t let me forget the burgers are ridiculous.
ABV served up what I consider to be one of the best burgers I have ever eaten, by a long shot. That being said, my new-found love for this place doesn’t end there!… the atmosphere is great, beer is excellent (and in an abundant selection) and most of all, the staff is amazing and efficient. I’m not from Buffalo, so my dinner was likely to be a one-time affaire, but should I return to the city, I am without a doubt going back to ABV. HIGHLY recommended.
Amazing bar. Food was delicious as expected. The service was a tad slow considering we were really the only people there.Would go and recommend to anyone who like a great burger and beer.
Beware!!. We came on a Sunday afternoon (4:30ish) to have dinner with my dad who is from out of town. We had heard decent reviews about ABV but I was really disappointed. We had to wait about 10-15minutes, which is not a big deal at all. We were sat pretty quickly in a nice booth corner with a high chair for our son. That’s were my good impression wore off. We sat and waited for 25 minutes and NO ONE even acknowledged our existence. Several couples around us were greeted and served at LEAST their drinks, still without us being acknowledged. Finally after another 5 minutes, our stomachs couldn’t wait any longer and we got up to leave. THATS when we FINALLY got acknowledged by the staff, but we were too disappointed to stay. The menu sounded great but obviously our patronage and money weren’t worth their time. Nothing was done by the staff to rectify the situation or ease our aggravation. However; one of the hostess’ made sure she had a drink in her hand and 2 cigarette breaks while we sat and waited for a drink ourselves.
