I’ve been here a couple of times now. Good food, inconsistent service (from ideal to having to go to the bar to get my soda refilled, even though the place was not full). On my most recent visit, the rib meat fell right off the bones, a no-no for proper BBQ, and the outside was borderline burnt. I like having a greater selection of sides; Dinosaur Bar-B-Que offers you that, it is generally hard to go wrong with your sides. All of the meats that I have tried are nicely smoked and not too salty. The menu is broad enough that everyone should be able to find something good to eat, there will be plenty to go around, and prices are reasonable. Overall, I prefer the Rochester location (the only other Dinosaur Bar-B-Que I have been to), or Brickyard in Lewiston.
Had great service and fair prices. Didn’t have to wait too long for food either. Ribs were fantastic but I didn’t like the side of fried rice that came with it…someone must have added way to my vinegar to the rice. Overall, definitely worth going to.
Recommend the ribs. Brisket is tasty but too fatty. Beans sweet for my taste, prefer spicy. Friendly service. Liked the cole slaw and corn muffin
A nice dinner, better than Anchor Bar or Fat Bob.The ribs are not covered inover-sweetglaze. The service is very quick. Someimprovementscould be made on some side as the fries and the chili which are very average.
Nothing like the Syracuse location. BBQ and sides are not close to the quality of the original location. As a Dino fanatic, very disappointed.

Real Barbecue. I’ve been barbecuing for years, but I like to try other cue as well. Dinosaur knows what it’s doing. Meat is tender without falling off the bone. Smoke is not overwhelming. Extra sauce is optional. I like the hot variety.Service was casual but good. Atmosphere was comfortable even though I ate on the patio. Prices were reasonable. I would give Dinosaur two thumbs up.
