Heard of it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from another…about DiTondo’s… Not doing any research on this establishment, we walked in today at 1:40 – not realizing they close at 2:00, our apologies – yet we still received excellent service. I ordered their 12oz burger, with lettuce, fried onions and tomato as the waitress said that this was the last burger left for the day (figuring it must be good if nearly sold out). I asked for my burger Mediumish as I don’t mind a little ‘juice’ in the burger. My doubts about the 12oz’s were soon answered with a resounding slap in the mouth! What a delectable behemoth! Great burger for only $6! I will return to sample their Friday only dinner menu, and perhaps another (better planned out) lunch. Great Prices, Good Food and GREAT value for the dollar on our first visit, we will return…
Great service. Amazing food, got us in and out in the 1 hour break we had between NCAA basketball sessions. Asked for a cab ride back to the first niagara center after we were done eating because it was too cold/windy to walk and the OWNER overheard me asking my waitress to call us a cab and came right over to offer us a ride back to the arena. That kind of fellowship tells you all you need to know about this restaurant, it’s staff and the city of buffalo. I had the pot roast sandwich which was so tender it fell apart in your mouth. Amazing food and great people.

Great meatballs
Two favorites within walking distance.. Well we know there’s a down the street rivalry with two great Italian Restaurants. Truth is…why argue? They are both great and in my opinion, very different styles so no need to squabble. Lol. About Ditondo’s..great atmosphere, good people, great food, reasonable pricing. If you can’t be social here, you should must be a hermit. My family has never had a bad meal at Ditondo’s.
Better value than Chef’s!!!!. Steps away from Chef’s, I’ll take this one especially if I am paying… good Italian food, not as crowded, so find it open and just go! Have always enjoyed it the times I was there and everyone in my parties. Enjoy!
Best Italian in Buffalo,hands down!!. Unbelievable Italian food. Went there for a wedding reception this summer, and I was blown away by the food. Stuffed shells, and chicken salad, were the two highlights for me. Desserts were homemade and delicious. Wish they were open for dinner during the week. In the summer the patio is open with a great view of a garden area
