I’ve been to Hydraulic twice this summer. The first time it appeared the bar was understaffed. We waited a while to order drinks and pizzas.Last night I returned. There weren’t too many people so I at at the bar and waited. I watched the bartender finish serving 2 groups that arrived before me. Other patrons came in and he began serving them as well. I let it go the first and second time but upon the third when he physically had to move past me to help someone else, I said something. Guess what he did, nothing, other than serve the other people. The girl from the other end of the bar came over to serve me. Terrible bar service!

The ambience was nice. They have a huge outdoor sitting area, live music. Pretty clean. The pizza was awesome, the crust was soo thin and they will make you any pizza you want half and half. Gave us alot of complimentary dishes to try. Not 5 points because the salad wasn’t good at all. If you go there try their pizza and drinks. The complimentary blueberry ice cream was great. And very reasonable pricing. Will go there again.

Such a great location! Larkin Square on Tuesdays is a great time to visit. The inside is very loft-like and modern with the exposed brick and butcher block tables. The outside gravel patio is a great space too! I had a speciality lemonade and the sausage pizza without the ricotta. Overall the food was good but the bottom was too burnt from the woodfire stove for me to get past the smoky taste of the crust. It was a bit over powering, however, the non blackened parts of the pizza were great! Can’t wait to go back!

Good Atmosphere. Tried four different pizzas and the bourbon wings which were all delicious. The noise was a little bit of a factor when trying to converse with other members of our party of 6 at the other end of the table. Drink and beer selection were good. All around good experience. The menu is limited pretty much to pizza so if you aren’t in the mood for pizza I would try somewhere else. Worth a try if you are looking for new places to go.

Most expensive crappy pizza in town!. Went in tonight and was overwhelmed by the noisiness of the place. My husband and I could barely carry on a conversation. It took about 15 minutes for my specialty drink to arrive. Pizza was very expensive and terrible. My husband had the pepperoni and there was no cheese on it! I had the buffalo chicken and the chicken itself had an odd taste and it had barely any toppings. More celery and carrots than anything. We will not be returning!
