Always has been good
Miss the nickel juke boxes and booths. Been eating here for years and years. The food is consistent. If anything, they’ve gotten better (and cleaner). Try the grilled pita with kesseri cheese and tomato.
Poor hospitality. I took my kids to Kosta’s last night for dinner.. we go there all of the time and really enjoy their food however, last night was different.while i was eating my salad, i felt something sharp in my mouth. it turned out to be a long wire bristle from one of the grill tools.. this is what the waitress told me..they never asked if i was okay, never offered to take the salad off of the bill.. more or less expected me to just pay and leave..i don’t think that i will be visiting Kosta’s again for a while
I’ve had several breakfasts there this past year and every one has been outstanding. I usually get the breakfast pair with the maple syrup (which costs extra). Over-medium eggs are perfectly done and hash browns are also perfectly seasoned. I’ve never had dinner here but breakfast is excellent.
I enjoyed some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had on the patio. Our waitress, Alycia, was sweet and attentive and the food arrived quickly. The dolmades and pastisto were well seasoned and authentic. Overall it was a great experience. I’ll be back!
Overall…bland and disappointing. I ordered a simple Lamb Gyro…that’s it, nothing complicated. What I got was bland as can be. Aside from the overload of tzatziki sauce that got EVERYWHERE…the lamb was just so bland, and it was cut into thick pieces, not shaved like a proper gyro. Just really disappointing.Same thing for my wife as well. She ordered a hot roast beef sandwich. We should have known that it wasn’t going to be good when it came out and the gravy (pretty sure it was an instant mix or came from a jar) had a film over it. And the meat was again extremely bland.Just really disappointing overall.
Monte Christo was delicious!! Garlic mashed potatoes were awesome. Veggie gyro that husband had was also very yummy. Two kids very much enjoyed the grilled cheese and fries (not greasy, good texture).
