Super. Salmon bacon, cattle hearts, leg of eel, doesn’t matter what you get. It will be fantastic. Just go there and order something you are not familiar with and you will love it.
A Very nice dinner. First time there. Service was top-notch, the waitress was new, but it was obviously not her first server gig. Everything from soup, appetizers, salads to the main course was done very well.
Very unique restaurant. Mike A does it yet again. This place has extremely fresh seafood and the sushi is some of the best in the city. My highly recommend the ramen. Wonderfully done and extremely satisfying. Worth a visit even if you’re not a fan of sushi, then menu is diverse and will satisfy any palate.
I thought I was being punked when the large sashimi platter came. I have never ever seen such tiny slivers of fish! I literally was speechless. Kumo and Washabi are by far much better than this place and give appropriate portions.
Very Good. This place has it going on!We started with the Seaweed Salad and Octopus Salad then Pork Enchiladas. The salads were fantastic!! I am not a meat eater but my friends really enjoyed the enchiladas and were impressed by the portion size. From there we ordered the Beef on Weck Sushi Roll (I did not try this, but I have heard many people rave about it in the past!), Chef’s Sashimi Tasting of Five Fish – Five Flavors (AWESOMEness!) and our own sushi roll creation of eel, avocado and salmon which they were very happy to make for us (all 3 of us absolutely LOVED it!). Everything that we had was wonderful! So fresh and full of clean flavor that delighted the taste buds. Service was great! She gave us great advice and was extremely attentive. sw
The service was terrible. It took too long to be greeted, too long for drinks, too long for food and too long for the check. The California and Mango crab rolls were amazing. Our entrees were the fish taco and scallop dish, both tasty. Once again the pour service put a damper on the evening. Also… Popcorn…really!!!! Too pretentious for me and definitely not the best Japanese sushi bar in Buffalo area. Do not think I will be back any time soon
Sashimi, albacore was not as fresh as described, texture was grainy previously frozen, octopus was very chewy. Meal was Not as flavorful as expected for fresh from Hawaii!
