…reminiscent of roasted pig served at a Macedonian wedding!Na zdravje30 Jul, 2014Came from Toronto to Larkin Square. This being my first Western NY food truck experience. Dripping and moist Cuban pork sandwich in a dense crusty style bun surrounded by caramelized onions paired with a zesty Mac n cheese with a lovely creamy mustard tinged Bechemal sauce. Served by classy people interested in who their customers are. You’re eating hardcore/top notch for 10 bones.
Chief Steward. I have been following the take over of the whole hog food truck by Brenden Haggerty. This chef continues to impress me greatly. His personality is calm and cool. This carries over to his staff. Each time I see his menu and taste his food I am completely satisfied. In my opinion this food truck has the most creative menu. He is always working with local and seasonal food. What a win for Buffalo!! This truck gets a 10 from me…

Just Ok, Its no Lloyds. I really wanted to love this place because I can’t get enough of pulled pork, but I was disappointed. The sauce is too watery, like the didn’t dump the extra fat/water from the slow cooker. There wasn’t enough fresh sauce on top, maybe just a squirt. Also, tons of fat chunks in the pork both times I went. Its quite messy so I always eat it with a fork and knife. Its always empty and I find it sometimes closed if I head out for a late (1ish) lunch it’ll be gone. I’d rather wait 20 minutes in line for Lloyds.
