Great food. Awesome service (Dave). Really good and strong drinks. Fantastic. They offer Groupons quite often, too. Can’t wait to come back.
Definitely go. Been there twice had a great time and great food both times, sushi and cooked, will definitely be back.
Not that great. I’m far from a sushi buff, but this place wasn’t that great. Nice staff and all but the sushi didn’t taste like it had fresh fish. I’ll stick with kunis.
Great sushi. Attentive, accommodating, cheerful, and helpful service. Good price for a group.
Although it was difficult to understand our waiter, I greatly enjoyed my time at Tokyo 2. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food that I received, as well as the taste of the food. My boyfriend and I ate there for a late dinner on a Monday evening and both ordered the chicken entrees. The chicken was perfectly prepared and to our delight we also found a few pieces of shrimp in each of our dishes. It was presented beautifully, the order of the meal was perfect. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. I would love to dine there again!
Pad Thai. Long, soft noodles in a sweet and spicey sauce with ground peanuts and fresh bean sprouts on the side. This comes with a variety of meat options, as well as vegetable or tofu, of which I’ve tried the chicken and the vegetable. Both were excellent. I think this is just as good as any Thai place I’ve had it from and a very large portion. A favorite of mine.13 Mar, 2012A little bit of Nippon. I have never been to Japan but I’ve seens loads of pictures and movies. The decor of this is very metropolitan Japan – upscale but still casual, modern but traditional. You would NEVER guess this used to be iHop. Sushi is on par with every local place I’ve eaten but Kuni’s. I think the hibachi outpaces other places I’ve tried (Shogun, Kyoto, etc). The Thai is also excellent, a suprise for a non-Thai centered restaurant. Desserts are tasty and reasonaly priced – try the deep fried green tea ice cream. The only dish I’ve tried that I thought was anything less than awesome was the udon, which was very bland (though it often is – I add a lot to udon soup when I make it at home). Service has always been very good when I went, except the first few weeks when they were working out the kinks. Overall an experience that makes you feel like you are overseas, and I don’t throw that phrase around.
