NEVER AGAIN!!. We went to Tokyo II this evening for the first and last time. We had a reservation for 6:00 p.m. and were finally seated at 7:10 p.m. While waiting at the bar we attempted to get drinks. We stood there for almost 20 minutes before someone took our order. Another customer that was also waiting walked away in frustration. Two people from our party actually left the restaurant and walked out.When we were finally seated it took quite awhile before anyone even came to get our drink order. When we finally placed our drink order we waited another 15 minutes before our drinks arrived and then they weren’t even all correct, so we had to send some of them back. We placed our food order and were told that they were giving us free edamame because we had to wait so long. Nice, but after waiting now 90 minutes past our reservation to get ANY kind of actual service a $2.00 appetizer hardly made up for it. The hibachi chef was wonderful and the food was actually quite good. He was definitely the best part of the experience.The women’s bathroom had no toilet paper in any of the stalls and there were no paper towels. When our bills finally arrived, several people in our party were charged for items they didn’t even order and the server tried to tell us we did! We would absolutely NEVER go to this restaurant again, which is unfortunate because the food was really quite good. The service was the WORST we have ever experienced and we are people who dine out pretty frequently. Take our advice and skip this restaurant. Drive the extra 15 minutes and go to Kyoto if you are looking for a hibachi experience!
