I have never had a bad meal here, and I agree with the comment on the margaritas…. Wow! We have dined here as a group 4 times and I have dined solo 2 times. It isn’t the fastest service around but the staff is pleasant and the food is worth the wait.
This was the second time we have ate here and it didn’t disappoint. It is literally the best food and service we have ever had in sisters and we know good Mexican food. Holy cow! I just can’t say enough about this place. It’s amazingly fresh and I enjoy the length of time it takes to get food- it isn’t fresh if it comes out 15 minutes after you order!! Our waitress was Ana (could be a longer name and possibly shortened on the receipt) she was AMAZING! There were three different people serving either drinks, food, or refilling chips and salsa. Every single one was on top of their game. We never once had to ask for more of anything because they were so on top of it. Don’t skip this place when in town!
Overall a good experience. Decent food and excellent margaritas! There’s a nice and spacious outdoor patio. The service was fast and nice.
Bad service, they stuffed us in a back room after walking us by lots of empty tables in the front room. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup, it was the worst I’ve ever had! It tasted and looked like a can of red enchilada sauce poured into a bowl with a few pieces of chicken and one slice of avocado. My dates good was equally bad, as though it came out of a can. There are much better options in Bend, Redmond, and Sisters.
Quaint, Friendly, and Tasty. The staff was warm, friendly, and very efficient. In addition, our food presentation was interesting as well as delectable. Our drinks never went dry, and we treated to a very pleasant experience. We will certainly be going back the next time we are in town.

Inexcusably Slooooow Service. Last Friday early evening two friends and I dined at Los Agaves. First the nice words: the food was OK, not great but acceptable. But we waited at least 75 minutes for our food from order to delivery. No excuse or explanation was ever provided. No offers for a complimentary beer or 10% or so off the price to compensate for the wait — nada. We are NOT coming back to Los Agaves.
