Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Knoxville. Their specialty pizzas are not overpriced as badly as other pizza restaurants, and they have great combinations.

Trivia night was fun, hard to hear & God help you – do NOT look at your phone or you will be taken out to the alley & beaten with rubber hoses. Shocked they hadn’t heard of a Kentucky Mule but as the name suggests they ARE beer spot & there’s plenty of fun adventure in those. I had the sausage & pimento cheese appetizer AWESOME. I got a wrap ??? The firecracker or something like that – yeah, it was not memorable. Great service, I’d hang again.
Worst Restaurant Staff in Knoxville?. I cannot understand how this place is still in business. I have heard from locals that its been on the decline for many years but my most recent visit will surely be my last. The service was horrid, the place has always been a complete dump even by dive bar standards (the bathrooms rival the worst i’ve ever seen), the food tastes like its all microwaved (most dishes more than likely are). We had to send our pizza back twice, the server was stand-offish and insulted me when we sent it back the second time. Before we left i spoke to the General Manager Rodney Lee about the situation and let me just say i have never felt so debased and degraded in my life. Not only did he scowl at me the entire time i tried to explain myself, but he then made awkward sexual passes while belittling me! I mean REALLY! Your the General Manager and you treat paying customers like this? Shame on the owner who employs someone like that to run their business. I emplore anyone reading this to take your business elsewhere.
Awesome food worth the wait. My husband and I went to Barley’s on the night of February 8 to see Corb Lund, we arrived early and decided to eat. All the tables were full or hadn’t been bussed yet, so we sat at a dirty one to wait. It took a while for the table to be cleaned and to be waited on, but it was extremely busy downstairs, and from what I could see, there were only two servers on the floor for probably 30+ tables, so it was completely understandable. I ordered the Sunspot burger and fresh veggies, and my husband ordered the buffalo fingers. Our waitress was as attentive as we could possibly expect her to be, and she was friendly and polite despite being obviously hassled by the other patrons of the bar. The food was amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We didn’t linger at the table so we could make room for more guests, but we had an overall good experience with the food and staff.
Nice beer joint, I love upstairs and I love the elevator- pizza is just ok –
Great Pizza/ Super Yumtown. Great Pizza…but… every time I’ve had it on a Saturday night for some reason its been slightly under -baked…!!???!!! well..just send it back for a few more minutes and enjoy. But its super delicious and possibly the best in Knoxville when the Pie- maker is in the groove.
