Love this place. My favorite little hole in the wall sushi place. The sunomono bowl was balanced overall but my go-to is the spider roll. Freshly made, great flavor, get it often when I visit. Also loved the Thai coffee they serve. The staff have become good friends of mine. Refer lots of students here
Better than I could have imagined. I heard about this place online, when i was looking for a place to celebrate my aniversary with my boyfriend and it had good reviews, so we tried it out. He was really skeptical at first, but right as we walked in we were greeted happily by multiple staff members. They seated us quickly, and treated us like we were actually people, instead of just customers.The sushi was the most flavorful and reasonably priced I’ve ever had in knoxville (and I’ve had a lot of sushi!) The sushi chef even gave us complimentary orange slices! The teriyaki beef was so good! It wasn’t at all like most mass produced Asian food, where everything ends up tasting pretty much the same. The flavor’s were distinct, and the vegetables were cut and steamed to perfection. The miso soup was a little less salty than i’m used to, but they have salt on the table so you can add more if, like me, you like a lot of salt. All of the food was Presented beautifully, and bursting with flavor. Jai Dee Thai and Japanese cuisine is definitely my new favorite Asian restaurant!
My favorite place. I order delivery from Jai Dee at least 3 times a week. The delivery is very fast and I have never had any problems with my order or delivery time. I have had most of the menu besides the sushi (I’m just not a big sushi person) and there is nothing I have not enjoyed. Jai Dee is reliable, consistent and it always brightens up my day.tl;dr Fast delivery, great service and outstanding food quality
Jai dee for mee. No matter what I get here I always love it! Sushi, curry, soup, it’s all always good. They have really good lunch specials too and the service is fast and friendly. Nice atmosphere and quick food.
I love Jai Dee!. Jai Dee is great. The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is no-frills but fine, and the food is great. The sushi is pretty standard (not my favorite sushi in Knoxville but good for the price and the convenience), but my favorite are the curry and the pad thai. I especially love the green curry. Be careful when ordering spice level, though! I’m not generally a wimp about spices, but I find a 2 on a 5-point scale to be a little spicier than I’d expect with the green curry. Overall good food, good prices, good staff, and convenient location to UT’s campus.
I’ve gone here with my friend twice and it exceeded our expectations both times. The prices are great, it’s delicious, and the service is good too
This has to be my favorite spot on campus! My favorite foods are their Crispy Tofu Volcano and the Aloha Roll. I cannot believe this place can have negative reviews! I come often so I know the food are not too salty at all. Highly recommend this place.
