I will always miss the Maryville Tomato Head. It was perfection. Ive tried the Kingston Pike location; and, while the food is good, the atmosphere is a missloud, impersonal, and cavernous. However, the Market Square Tomato Head is pretty nearly perfect, with its cozier, homier, more friendly feel. The same yummy food, just with a more personal vibe. This is my new favorite Tomato Head location.

Have come here twice and have gone for their sandwiches each time. Food feels clean and fresh. Bar servers are always friendly and helpful. In the end though it was their lavender cupcakes that captivated me. Im hooked forever to this little sweet devotions. And Im not even a person who likes sweets!

Tomato Head is fresh, unique and overpriced for its offering of small portions that still leave you hungry. Though it has a nice clean vibe and the food is tasty I always feel rather let down when the meal is over. My experiences at Tomato Head have always been mostly positive though and truly the offerings of their menu are very enjoyable. Whether choosing from the pizzas, sandwiches or baked goods. The product consistency is always above par, but portion size needs to increase in order to justify the prices charged. Another note to pay attention to is the customer service given by the waitstaff. I’ve had service issues at both locations and often felt ignored or even outright avoided unless they had to serve food or the bill. When dining out in a restaurant that is set up to be sit down service and you feel as if you get more attention and dedication from fast food restaurant staff for 1/2 the price and 2x’s the product it is an issue. Their only saving grace is product quality. Without that Tomato Head would be rated as a 2 @ best.

Very good pizza, nice atmosphere bordering on hipster vibe but cool. Prices are good, big beer selection, definitely recommend. Much better than Gavinos…

This place is one of my favorites for its amazing decor and wonderful pizza. I have not personally had the sandwiches, but my friend said they were great. The only complain I might have is how this place is pricy.

The Oh Boy Sandwich is one of the best chicken sandwiches of all time! Benton’s bacon… yum!!! We will be back the next time we are in town for sure. The service was decent as well.

Food was good. Service was a little slow but nice. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. But avoid going during busy hours (weekends) because you’ll probably have a 25 minute + wait
