This is some good pizza! Good spices that are not overpowering. Perfect amount of cheese. Served hot! Takes are a bit closer but that is typical of cozy little Italian places.
Thin Crust is the Best. Palio’s pizza in Colleyville is really good. The thin crust has a crunch in every bite. The sauce is spicy, but it does not overpower the toppings. We had two different pizzas. The first was a pepperoni, mushroom and green onion. The flavor of each ingredient was present and wonderful. The second pizza was sausage, pepperoni and mushroom. The spice of the sausage was good. Our appetizer was a cheese bread. It was nothing special, but it is enjoyable. This particular location is very busy. It is staffed by teens and young adults. They are not particularly attentive, but they get the job done. The patrons of this place constantly change. It attracts youth and adult sport teams coming to celebrate. Families with kids in tow are always present. High schooler’s out with friends may take up a residence on the patio. As for us, we like to bring a bottle of wine and hang out while enjoying the pizza. It’s just a fun enjoyable place with excellent pizza.
Bad, bad sercvice… Never saw an adult just a bunch of young teenagers with zero customer service. My daughter is extremely allergic to gluten and I am always looking for new places to take her so that she can enjoy those things she loves and now cannot have. I normally go to the Red Brick pizza place off hwy 26 in Colleyville where the Movie Grill is but some time ago I read about Palios and wanted to go. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! First, the menu does not specify what is gluten free obligating you to have to ask. The problem with that was that it seems we were an inconveniencing the cashier. To the point that I had to take a menu and get out of the line to read because she could not help me or was not willing to ( the menu does not have any reference to what is gluten free either). AT THIS POINT I SHOULD HAVE LEFT… Once we knew what we wanted we went back to the line (again) and then we pointed out what we wanted from the menu that the teenage girl was kind enough to give us (being sarcastic here. She did not help us at all). My daughter asked for a Gluten Free Mollys pizza without Roma tomatoes and I asked for a medium size Greek pizza and told the girl to just put it in a box because I was only going to eat part of it at the restaurant and take the rest to work. The receipt was stamped at 6:27pm. About 20 minutes later a small pizza arrives and my daughter and I look at it; it was not what we had ordered. I told the young man that was not our pizza and he said yes it is you ordered a Gluten Free Roma I politely told him no we ordered a Gluten Free Mollys with no Roma tomatoes. The young man takes the pizza back and I can hear them saying that that was what I ordered… wow customer service… MISSING!!! Did they realize or even cared that I was sitting in front of them and could hear them argue?Time passes by; the place now is almost empty. There were about 7 young girls behind the counter all talking… never really saw an adult back there. One of the young girls came out from behind the counter and I called her, she was not happy that I called her and her expression made it clear. It was 7:10pm and I asked her what happened with our pizzas. (We ordered at 6:27pm). She goes to the kitchen and comes back with a warm Gluten Free Mollys pizza. I wonder why they had not brought the pizza to the table? Guess since they were all talking and having a good time behind the counter. At this point, almost an hour later my pizza was not done. What on earth where they waiting to make my pizza? Or was it also an inconvenience to make a pizza that I had already paid for almost an hour earlier. Its not like they were busy because by this time the place was almost empty inside the restaurant. We could not eat, we were so hungry but the waiting (on top of the frustration) and the bad service just took away our appetite. Besides a cold gluten free pizza is not the best thing to eat. I never saw an adult in this place, they messed up our order more than once, and they made us feel like we were inconveniencing them every time I asked for my food, the food that I had paid for. In this place there is no customer service, the service is terrible, they messed up our order and no one came to at least say we apologize for the misunderstanding. I think I was patient, waiting over an hour for two pizzas when the place was not even full. Bringing me a cold gluten free pizza, and forgetting to make my pizza. This is the worst place I have ever been to. I dont remember ever going to a place where they made me feel that I was and inconvenience, and unimportant. I travel a lot, and even go on road trips to visit old diners in the state and out of state; its not like I dont know what proper and good customer service is, and/or the etiquette of dinning out.
