Have not visited this little seafood gem in over a year but took a group of seven adults here tonight. We were seated immediately and quickly gave our drink orders. The menu is shorter than we remember, mostly seafood items with burgers, chicken sandwiches and a steak offering; there are still fresh/specials on the blackboard. We had clam chowder, fried pickles and oyster nachos as appetizers, they were all delicious and nicely presented. Our entrees were the blackened seafood platter, shrimp and oysters, fish and chips, chipotle fish tacos, the fresh horseradish encrusted salmon special, catfish platter and oysters. Everything was hot, prepared simply and excellent. There were no leftovers from our seven plates! Substitutions off the menu, such as grits for waffle fries or salad for the cole slaw were handled with courtesy and grace. Service was attentive without being too close or familiar. It was a bit pricey: our check for three entrees, a cup of chowder, fried pickles and one beer was $72 without the tip. We also shared beignets for dessert but while they were straight out of the fryer they were greasy and not particularly memorable. We will skip the beignets next time but certainly we will go back more often for good seafood and great service!

Enjoyed a great meal last night at FCG. Beer battered shrimp are a special, but should be a regular menu item. Service was prompt and friendly. Double Happy Hour is a great idea.

It’s decent…. customer service not so much.. Went in for crawfish and they were very affordable. However my server Mike was horrible. I’ll try this place again and hopefully I’ll have a better experience.

Awesome crab legs, however it’s a shame that the all you can eat option is only available during college football Saturdays. We’ve gone during slow and hectic times, and our food always arrives hot and prompt. The only issue during hectic times is there is sometimes a lag in getting the drinks to the table, but nothing that would prevent my girlfriend and I from returning. (We are both in restaurant management, and understand things can’t always be perfect). The servers seem knowledgeable and friendly, and my kudos to the manager for having such a well trained FOH and BOH staff. This is our go to restaurant, and we hope that doesn’t change!
