  Used to like this place but…questionable freshness…if my son hadn’t REALLY wanted to eat here, and we hadn’t promised him he could — we probably would have left upon seeing the food line.it looked HORRIBLE! food spilled all over, mushrooms were turning black and the bamboo shoot mix smelled – lots of liquid like it had been sitting. I checked what we all got, and was thinking the whole time that I shouldn’t be letting my family eat here.sauce area was a mess of spills also. the place was otherwise clean, and staff was ok.we were all handed bowls upon walking in the door – no menus – no questions as to what we wanted.we came on kids night – tues kids eat free. I questioned why the bowl my son was given was the same size as ours. only then were we told that he was given an adult bowl. so that was switched out, but we were charged for his meal – so THAT had to be fixed.my son ordered cheesecake for dessert, and it tasted like it had been stored uncovered among other foods and had absorbed some fridge flavors.I don’t like restaurants that seem to try bait and switch with kids meals. the waitress also asked whether to bring him a big soda or small soda – kids meal comes with a kids drink – if I’m getting a kids meal, bring me the kids drink. and I didn’t speak to management about this – when things are this bad, what’s the point? the manager was walking the floor – he couldn’t see the shape the food and sauce lines were in?I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon. need a new Mongolian grill place to take my son to.

  Lunch with friends in SA for spring break found us at Genghis Grill for lunch. While it is a chain restaurant, they really have some tasty menu items and a fairly consistent dining experience. If you are a vegetarian or a vegan, you will be very, very happy here.This location was very clean, and the staff was quick and courteous. It is a cafeteria line ordering system which can be intimidating for newbies, but the staff helps you out. Though, if possible, dining with someone who knows the routine might give you some pointers.These bowls hold more than you might think. This trip, we all selected Signature Bowls. I chose The Bowl of Seoul. It comes with chicken, beef, and shrimp along with Udon noodles. My friends ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and the Surf N Turf. All of our bowls were great!
