Horrible. My family and I visited your Stoneoak location last evening. I’m not sure if this experience could have been any worse. I called when we were 10 minutes away to ask about the patio’s availability. I was told there were many open tables and that they would get a 10 top together for us. When we arrived I was greeted by the manager who promptly told us in a very rude way that there was a 10 top in front of us and that they don’t take reservations. We waited on the patio and watched the 10 top sit vacant for 30 minutes until another party arrived. About 15 minutes later we were sat, but did not see our waiter for another 15 minutes. He was rude and aloof the entire meal. Our food came out fast, but 2 orders of nachos were very cold, my fiesta chicken was so dried out that I’m sure it sat under a heat lamp for a while. I then saw a busboy walk out with 2 limes in his bare hand. He handed the limes to our waiter who grabbed them with his bare hand and carried them in his fist where he then put them on the edge of 2 margaritas. It then took our waiter 20 minutes after we were done eating to finally bring us our checks. We were there for 2:45 minutes total. We loved the patio, but I don’t think we will be able to come back unless the management changes at this location.

Pericos serves average local Tex-Mex; Good food; Large portions and good variety; Courteous staff; Reasonable prices; Dining room is pristine; In this area, I prefer to eat at Hacienda de Los Barrios; however, if they are crowded and have too long of wait, Pericos is a nice alternative. They can handle large groups too! Enjoy!
If you want a good meal, head here. We like the Perico’s queso, the enchiladas and the Santos Special (enchiladas and you can add one item like a taco or fajitas). The salsa is warm and delicious too. Their margaritas are delicious but occasionally weak. Playground is popular with our little guy. Not spectacular, but no one will leave disappointed……sometimes that’s all you want, isn’t it?! 😉
Great place! Tried several different Mexican restaurants this place had the best drinks and margaritas. Had the mole enchiladas and I thought it was better than Rosario’s which was really good as well. I don’t know what the complaints are all about. Like I said, especially if you are looking for good drinks go to Perico’s
The food here Used to be good..actually so…delicious! NOW everything is not so good not even close to okay.. We Ordered caldo and it wasn’t even hot but the margaritas still look good
Don’t expect anything beyond the capabilities of a novice cook from this place. Started with chorizo queso that was literally made from Velveeta cheese or its knock-off brother. Let them take it from the table looking exactly as it did when it came: cheap. Then ordered two entrees which were Eggs & Chorizo a la Mexicana. Needless to say, we weren’t impressed by it either. It lacked any kind of flavor and we, again, just asked for the check.
