You better like Goat (Cabrito) if you eat here because that is about all they offer besides steak an one chicken dish. The waiter was really green and did not know much and his memory and serving etiquette was about a 2 on the 10 scale. Regardless, the steak we ordered was so thin I was expecting over easy eggs because I thought we were at Jims Coffee shop. The $11 margarita tasted like a $5 version. The queso flameado was all thick but the chorizo tasted good. The best thing I enjoyed was their twice baked potato. Yummy. I rate this place a 4 but then I will try the Cabrito next time, maybe upgrade this up to maybe a 6….maybe.
My husband and I went for my birthday and we absolutely loved the food. If you are looking for TexMex cuisine you won’t find it there, move on. This is authentic and traditional Mexican food. The atmosphere and service was wonderful. The way the food was presented was outstanding it wasn’t just thrown on the plate. We plan on making a restaurant favorite.
Los cabriteros satx. Went for dinner took us three hours to eat they have anglo waiters that dont have a clue about the menu and how to approach an 100 percent mexican restaurant where most of their customers are spanish spoken people that is not it we were offered what is called paquetes with no explanation and we ended up paying an ocer priced plate and the service is terrible refills in drinks take an eternity and the management does not know how to handle situatiions where their waitress dont know how to control separate tickets and the plares offered to their customers. Honestly if you plan to go dont bother going.
The Service And the live music were great but the cabrito tacos were tasteless, im not sure why they ar selling the tacos if taste like nothing.
The food was delicious and the service even better. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Thanks!
Best cabrito in Texas…good for real mexican taste cabrito!!!. Perfect texture, flavor and service…I am sure bad comments posted here are from Americans that have no idea of good cabrito! Rionera is the way to go…
Big Disappointment. My husband loves cabrito so we were excited to try this restaurant. We went last Friday evening and sat outside since it was a nice night. The lighting outside is not suitable for dining, you cannot see what you are eating. The meal was overpriced for what you receive. We tried the meal for two with the cabrito shoulder and beef fajita-cabrito was just OK and the beef fajita had no flavor at all. The salad was just a hunk of iceberg lettuce with two slices of tomato that you had to cut and toss yourself. All of this for $60. Do not feel the need to go back.
