First time to SE tonight. Sat down and waited 10 mins for a server. Almost walked out but waiter finally came. From then on out our server was great. Food came out quick & was delicious. Will definitely return!
Great food, Great service!. Having just recently moving into the Stone Oak area, I was looking for a good sushi shop just like in my hometown. As I’m driving around I see Sushi Express. Unsure, I stop by to check it out. And surprisingly enough it’s almost as good, if not better than my old favorite! And the service was amazing! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. My waitress was so nice and helpful! She was so warm and cheerful! She was a really sweet girl. I’ll be sure to come back very soon!
Good Sushi but average service. I always try sashimi first when judging a sushi restaurant. Sushi express provided hamachi, sake, maguro, and escolar. The sashimi was an average portion, the temperature was correct, and the flavor was fresh. The appetizers were tasty..we ordered both green mussels dynamite and the crawfish dynamite. Notice that I discussed the appetizers after the sashimi, because that’s the order we received our food. The service is not a strength for this restaurant. The waitress did not know the difference between sushi rice and steamed rice and was not attentive. Overall the food makes the average service tolerable but keeps a good restaurant from being a great one.

Enjoyable. Not what you would expect from the name, Sushi Express is less about quick on the go sushi and more about high quality and good service.
Service is excellent. They are all very nice! Sushi is so good too. I loved the scuba roll. Definitely going back!
