Was going to eat here, but…. When we saw this place en route to Bulverde, we were really excited to try it. However, when we got to the entrance there was a big political ad in the front for Elisa Chan, the notoriously homophobic former city councilwoman. We have many LGBT friends and family and just didn’t feel in good conscience that we could support this business. At the very least, they may want to consider how prominent placement of campaign signs impacts on their business. Too bad, cuz it looks delicious…
Yum Thai is one of my very favorite restaurants. The staff is quite attentive and caring. The complimentary soups are delicious. Love anything with glass noodles in it. The curries are excellent. When I go there I frequently see regulars. I didn’t know that glass noodles are made from bean sprouts. Now, that’s low carb.
No soup for you!. This was our first time dining at Yum Thai and our experience was not the greatest. We were immediately seated, but then waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. We ordered our food and drinks. We didn’t get our drinks for 5 minutes, then our food came out shortly after. We then waited another 3 minutes for silverware. When she came back with our silverware I asked her for the soup that came with our lunch specials. We never got the soup. The food was decent. I ordered the pad thai. There was more bean sprouts on my plate than noodles and maybe 7 little pieces of chicken which was disappointing. This is definitely at the bottom of our list for SA thai restaurants.
Highly recommend!. Wonderful service and yummy food!! staff is very welcoming and quick. friendly people and good food are always a great lunch break. also have great lunch specials.

I ordered the green curry with tofu. I asked the waiter if the tofu would be fried and his said yes. When my curry came out it defiantly wasn’t fried. Although it wasn’t the way I ordered it I still ate it and it wasn’t to bad.
We like it. Food is good and the owner is fabulous. She is always so friendly and helpful. When I went in with my new baby (some months ago) she even served my food onto my plate for me to help me out and made sure I had everything I needed. I said talk about great service!
