Good Coffee, Bad Attitude!. Coffee is good. Desserts are OK to good. Food is not good. The owner is a spoiled little snot who hasn’t recovered from her sense of entitlement. Gee, wonder why? Could it be that her Mother owns the Wimberley Cafe? Or is it because her Father is on the City Council? Whatever it is, that doesn’t mean you are allowed to be rude!Kinda ruins the experience doesn’t it.
Just don’t order food. Visiting Wimberley, we wanted a light lunch before antique shopping and saw that this place had sandwiches and paninis. Yes, I know it’s a coffee shop, not a diner, so feel free to disregard this, but the food is not good. I had a Mediterranean panini that was bland, but edible. My husband order a grilled cheese and it was given to him barely cooked. Like, he could separate the pieces of cheese on the sandwich still. Our drinks were good, but I was taken aback by one of the barista’s demeanor. An older man came in and ordered something, she made it, put it on the counter, and said in something not much louder than a whisper his order was ready. Understandably, he didn’t hear her, therefore did not come running for his drink. She rolled her eyes and gave him an ugly look behind his back (and the shop was not busy, as if she should have been stressed or rushed). She may have put a smiling face in front of him, I don’t know, but it was pretty tacky to see that attitude displayed toward a paying customer.
Delightful!. Delightful describes the entire experience. I like Hot Mocha Lattes. Theirs is the best! Great place to socialize. Always new people to meet. The Owner and her Baristas are great people. Sometimes there is a line, as there is at all great places, but well worth the wait.

Yummy Coffee. My son loves the toy store across the square. So every time he gets a little prize, I go across to Sip! and get a little prize for myself! I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve gotten there (mostly lattes). Very tasty. Also, the service is wonderful. I always end up having conversations with the woman who works there (maybe the owner?). She’s friendly and helpful.
Friendly service, typical coffee shop prices. Love the mango green tea smoothie!
Great coffee selection, but the real treats here are the hand made biscotti and pound cake!! Yumm!!
