Shelton’s best coffee drive-thru. A longtime resident of Olympia and Dutch Bros. addict, I was crushed to move to Shelton and find that there wasn’t a DB within 20 miles. So naturally, I went from coffee shop to coffee shop looking for a place that had the same kind of coffee — not too bitter, not too sweet, served with a dash of spunk and a side of uniqueness. I found it all at Riverside Espresso. The coffee was excellent, the owner just as personable as can be, and the surprise of the day was that they offer some top-notch Thai Iced Tea alongside all of the typical coffee offerings! My wife always picks up the Caramelizer at Dutch Bros. in Lacey, so of course she went for the not-on-the-menu-but-still-available Caramel Macchiato at Riverside, and declared it far beyond that of Starbucks and *almost* the equal of her favorite…which coming from her, means a lot!We’ll be going back to Riverside — many, many times. You should, too!
