Wonderful. My boyfriend took me there for my birthday for a date last night and first off, the place was adorable. The lighting was amazing and I’ve never had a candle lit dinner before, so that was a plus. At first, I couldn’t understand why the burgers would be 15 bucks (with fries)- but that was until I got mine. It was huge. The cheese was melted just right on it, there was even bacon hidden in the cheese. You could tell the garlic fries and sweet potato fries were homemade. They were delicious. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Hell, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. And the service was great.
Great Food!. My husband and I had one of our best steak dinners ever at the Strip. The steak, salad, bread, potato – everything was perfectly cooked. The friendly staff, including the owner Herb, who was present throughout and is almost always there, took great care of us. The ambiance and comfort were great as well.
Poor Customer Service. I have been to this place a few times, but just last night I found a small piece of glass in my salad. The server was unapologetic, claiming it wasn’t even glass, and asked if I would like another salad. I was charged full price for my meal. I didn’t want to complain, but I feel like there should have been some sort of compensation.
Excellent.. Shelton has some good eating establishments. The Strip keeps a simple, straight forward menu, focusing on steaks. The quality is excellent, the staff friendly, and service very good. It is definately a place worth stopping for lunch or dinner. If you do, I suspect you will be back.

Excellent!. The Strip is the place in Shelton that I would send anyone, and everyone I know! Fabulous Food, Friendly service and a comfortable, cozy and fun environment all wrapped into one! Do not overlook this place! Best food in Shelton by a longshot!
Stopped by on a rainy Monday in may. Decided to indulge in some fine beef without breaking the bank. Decided to have the 10 oz top sirloin with a twice baked potato and salad. The salad was just that, a salad. The steak was great. Sometime I will have to come back and try a better cut of beef, as the mediocre top sirloin was great. The bread service was very good also, with a chibata roll and very tasty herb butter. The twice baked potato was darned good as well. Good place to grab a good serving of beef.
