Good Food, Horrible Delivery. Food is good generally. Orders take forever for delivery compared to other similar options. Good to go there and eat. Our last order took ONE HOUR and 45 MINUTES due to ‘mix up’ and all the restaurant said was, ‘sorry for mix up’.
I love this place!. My favorite meal here is the tortellini, which has generous ham and peas and is at least three meals in one. We don’t often get the pizza, because the rest of the food is so good. I prefer to eat in, and have gone with a friend and with my kids and the servers have always been wonderful. It feels a bit like going to have lunch at a friend’s house – if the friend was a really fantastic cook. Save room for the nice desserts, too – there aren’t many pizza places that can boast the selection they have.
Unprofessional and food was awful. We ordered a stuffed crust pizza for delivery. It took about fifteen minutes for the kid to understand my address, should have been the first sign. Then was told it would show up within the hour. An hour and fifteen minutes later I called and the girl answering the phone answered by saying we’re closed. I was like, do you plan on bringing us a pizza we ordered over an hour ago…the pizza finally shows up after an hour and a half and I watch the driver throw a cigarette butt out the window. I asked him if he was smoking in the car with my food in it and he says I don’t know. Seemed like a fairly simple question. At this time we were starving so I take the pizza. Once inside, I open the box and it was not our pizza. So almost two hours from the time I called, we have our stuffed pizza and what a disappointment it was. There was no flavor to the crust, the sauce, hardly any toppings, this place was a joke. We also ordered wings, hot – let’s just say they shouldn’t have wins on the menu. Every person I spoke to was unprofessional, service was lousy and the pizza they advertise was awful…could never be convinced to eat there again…
A real pizza pie. If you like Giordano’s in Chicago…you will like this
