Downtown Toledo so you have to look for parking. Nice place, not the cleanest. We had a very loud atmosphere because of the Mudhens game. First time having Chicago style pizza, loved it. Very filling pizza, the 3 of us got a medium, we took 2 pieces home. Also got garlic bread with cheese, small portion, but not bad. Definitely going back.
$30 for a pizza?? ABSOLUTELY and worth every penny. Chicago style deep dish that doesn’t get any better. I have been to several Pizzapolos and this one did not disappoint. Nice sports theme and right next to Fifth Third field.
A conditional love for PizzaPapalis. Although their sauce is incredible and their cheese and toppings taste very fresh, I’m not a fan of the Chicago style deep dish. Everyone I know loves it, but I find the crispy almost pie crust tasting to be off putting. Normally deep dish is my favorite, but the flaky pie like crust doesn’t fit for me. Which is fine, I just order the hand tossed and it’s delicious.
