Great muffins.. My partner and I stopped here for a quick snack before we drove back to Decatur. The muffins were great. The coffee is typical Starbucks. I mean there is nothing wrong with it! I would rather seeing some independence!! The prices were reasonable. I liked the relaxed atmosphere. But get rid of the bibles laying on the coffee table! I think it is the only place in Marshall to get a decent cup of coffee, so I really cannot complain. 🙂
Wow, What a Cookie with Icing!. Good atmosphere, good for a date, good food too, we had the monterrey burger, tortilla soup, roast beef sandwich, etc.. and it was all good.5/8/14…that was our review from several years ago. Same atmosphere created for the more social of Marshall. We had good service but no diet dr pepper. We chose a thursday for the special of Philly Cheese Steak. One of us thought is was okay and the other thought is was very good…esp dipped in the sauce.We posted a picture also of a sugar type cookie with icing that was phenomenal.JG score of 3.5 (+1.5 for food, 0 for atmosphere, +1 for price, 0 for no diet dr pepper, 0 for service and +1 for we will return)
R&R is NOT nasty, nor is it old. It is very high class. If you have a large family on a budget I don’t not recommend you going there. But if you are willing to spend money then its great. They have very odd house so check before you plan anything. Very great coffee and pastries. They serve Starbucks. Make their own pastries. And have great soups and salads.
Great coffee, great owners, some great finds. I crave these amazing sugar cookies when I’m out of town. And I would especially recommend the white chocolate raspberry scone, I was never a scone fan…until THAT scone. Wow. As far as the daily fare, it is a solid lunch place with salad and sandwich selections, chicken salad and a daily soup which is as tasty as the burger. Just remember to save room room for dessert!
Starbucks in Marshall Texas!. If you like Starbucks then the R&R has it! All the specialty coffee (lattes, cappucinos, fraps…!) They also have great baked pastries, cookies, and cheesecakes and to top it off their lunches are incredible! The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful and there’s free wifi. I like to get a Vinte Caramel Macciatto and kick back with my laptop in the corner table and chill in the mornings…nice place!
This is the only place in Marshall you can get Starbucks coffee. The coffee is good, but the atmosphere is a little stuffy. Not somewhere I would like to go and hang out with friends
