Sorry, folks, but the place is now closed. The business went bankrupt, and is now out of business. I guess someone else will set up a new business in the premises, but Autolyse is dead.
We visit (self plus two kids) pretty regularly. Coffee is always good, baked goods are tasty and the service is usually pretty quick.
Trendy cafe conveniently situated near northern (ie Goulburn/Sydney) entrance to Canberra. Short walk from apartments on Northbourne St where we stayed. Plenty of food choices (trifle yoghurt with berries and nuts; ham cheese croissant) at reasonable prices with nice, strong (Campos) coffee. Recommended.
Had lunch with friends here, the coffee, like other autolyse cafe in sydney, is sub-par but the food was great. Mushrooms were ace
Autolyse is wonderful. Breakfast here is an experience due to the varied menu and really excellent food. The almond croissants would be at least as good as the best you can taste anywhere and the coffee and service is excellent.
