We ordered and bought the birthday cake today, but it is unbelievable that there was no lid to cover the the birthday cake. How can staff in a standard bakery merely ask the customers to take away the birthday cake without any lids to cover it? As known there are pollution in the air and it is very unhygienic to walk out with the birthday cake like that. Frankly speaking, It is very unprofessional. Worse still, your staff (especially the female one and the shorter male) at the front were not friendly and looked like they were reluctant to give me any help with that at the beginning until I asked them to try to use another cardboard to cover it. Another unpleasant thing is that she can even use a broken cardboard to cover it. It is really inconsiderate and unprofessional. I was trying to buy it for my professors and how can I show something thats broken to other people like that. I paid nearly $90 for the birthday cake, of course as a customer, I wanted to buy a birthday cake that we like the most and meanwhile receive friendly and helpful customer service. However, when I told the same female staff earlier before about how I wanted the cake to be made and decorated, at first she was fine and helped me to talk to the baker inside. But then, when I wanted to add more, she looked relectant, impatient and unfriendly to me that the cake already got a lot of things on it. From my point of view, if adding just fruits and a disk of chocolate are already enough, then why I needed to pay so much for the cake? I can just choose another bakery to buy a normal $60 with the similar things. I also didnt know whether it was the baker unwilling to do more or….. Neverthelss, the staff shouldnt have said something like that to a customer. That was rude. Anyway, what I wanted the most is to buy a birthday cake that looks very gorgeous and different from other normal bakeries.Lastly, not only making delicious food and drinks are essential, but also friendly and helpful customer service are also of the same importance as well. I wish that you could do something to improve in this aspect. Thanks
