Had a nice Sunday brunch. Food came out super fast and service was super attentive. It was a really quiet day and at one point I was the only diner in the cafe at 11am. My mocha ordered was on point. Note that they have Sunday prices for all their food and it is far more $ compared to every other day of the week.
Service really fast and efficient but highly disappointing so after coming here for my daily coffee everyday for a couple of months I started to go elsewhere. In the city, you really need to get your game on with so many competitions just a stone throw away.
Dropped in this morning for a quick breakfast and coffee as they didn’t seem too busy. Unfortunately we ended up waiting 1.5 hours for cold breakfast to be served to us, only it was definitely meant to be hot food. We were given no heads up to a massive wait, and not a smile in sight from the wait staff who seemed to not have a lot to do. The food looked good but tasted pretty plain. Only saviour was the coffee flavour, but my latte was served as a flat white in a glass.
Recommendation: give it a miss! Pretty poor service. Not the greatest coffee. Unsure why there wasn’t any table service just because it’s a public holiday. Ridiculous! The table wasn’t level and the waitress refused to fix it. She also only brought five water glasses for six people.
This was one of the first places we stopped at in a recent visit to our capital city over the busy Xmas period. We were in dire need of coffee & breakfast after a long hike around Lake Burley Griffin. This busy cafe seemed to fit our requirements. They did a good flat white & a decent house beans. Even my scrambled eggs were good served with an ultrasweet tomato. Service was fast considering they were pretty flat out due to not much else being open.
Got all orders wrong, meals all came out at different times. Coffee average
