My first time to a Hog’s Breath Cafe. Went to the Civic restaurant in Canberra on 3/03/16. One word, DISAPPOINTED and ANGRY. My friend and I sat down at approximately 6:30PM, we ordered around 6:35PM, we both ordered a medium rare premium steak with chips and salad. After waiting for 30 minutes, our meal still hadn’t arrived. We saw other customers at a table of 4 who came after us, got their meal before us. We then had to ask the waitress to check how much longer our meal was going to be ready because it felt like she forgot to put the order in. She came back 5 minutes later telling us it will be another 10 minutes. Finally at approximately 7:20PM, an entire 45 minutes later, our dishes arrived and you can see by the photo it was definitely not worth the wait at all. Comparing my photo to other photos, I probably got half the serve of chips on my plate, so disappointed for such a LONG wait. Let’s just say I won’t be back.
