Terrible. Was at a 21st party there tonight. Good was beyond terrible and staff were the rudest I have ever met. Peanuts on the floor and we were all disgusting pigs and they would never want any of ‘ our kind’ there again. No problem at all. All 60 or so of us would never want to come back.
Relaxing and Lively. I loved the paneer best and also had a soft spot for the lamb. Nana bread was appetising but I did find the Goan fish curry a tad too sour. The lady host was friendly and engaging. It was a nippy night outside and there was a boisterous lad’s big night party in the bar section. The children must have loved their butter chicken and special coloured rice. The birthday bloke at our table could not get the goat curry he was eyeing for. Licensed, it had a healthy crowd on a Saturday evening. Overall I was happy with the tastiness of the various gravies and the whole experience.
Ducks guts. Reminded me of brick lane…boom
Amazing as always. I have been a long time diner with Indian Affair in Phillip and was thrilled to know they have expanded to the City. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very different to Phillip. I did love the purple dcor and the fact they have a large space available to host parties. The girls (daughters of the Phillip owners) were lovely and their staff and its great to see that there are still good old fashioned family run businesses around. The vegetarian options have expanded which is a great treat being a vegetarian. The spinach in potato is my favourite but I have come to love their eggplant curry and the naans were nice and fluffy. Overall a wonderful dining experience
Go to the shop in Woden. Noting like the indian affair we know in Phillip. The girls behind the bar were rude and the food was overpriced and mediocre. Weird nightclub attached, it is all very strange…
Worst dining experience. The Indian food is a far cry from the Phillip store. The service is alright (when they pay attention to you) the food is average and there is a very pricey wine list (all very terrible and over price. Staff are rude and the atmosphere is shocking there is a pinball machine in the centre of the bar.The food is more expensive than jewel of india or punjabi hut and no where near as good. Don’t waste any time or money going here
THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT!!!. This would be my favourite Indian restaurant, been here numerous times. The atmosphere is always comfortable and pleasing, food is always consistant and perfect, my favourite dish would be the Lamb Korma followed closely by Butter Chicken both an absolute delight. The staff are very kind and helpful in selecting dishes and asked numerous times how the dinner was. Thank you for providing a great dinner, will definitely be back!
