I tried their Pempek (fish cake) in the multicultural festival. The pempek was hard and dry, while the cuko sauce was rather too sweet and tasted like sweet soy sauce.
Enjoyed a lovely Soto Ayam. My only pick at it was it needed more lemon/lime to it. The bright yellow counter definitely caught my eye. On closer look, food is very affordable and quick.
Indo is a regular lunch haunt for me during my working week, it’s cheap, fast, fresh and delicious! The 3 for $5 combo is fantastic! I can’t even imagine how many of the amazing corn fritters I’ve eaten over the last year!
Cheap & cheerfulIndonesian food. Good for a quick lunch. I enjoyed the laksa & vegetarian spring rolls. Food reminded me of the time I spent in Sumatra-has a bit of a homely touch to it. They also do a good gado gado cooked to order for $12-bargain! Oh loved the brightyellow fit out too
Really good. Go here at least 3 times a week to grab the $8 lunchbox – the chicken white curry or satay are my favourites and its a very good deal. Happy to support a local business like this one!
Awesome, cheap, tasty lunch in the city. $8 for a pre packed lunchbox of rice and something tasty. Curries are good but my fav is the fried chicken with omelette. $10 for the box + can of drink and fried entree. It’s very popular – there are often long lines, but service is very fast and I’ve never had to wait too long.
Tasty and cheap lunch. An easy, cheap lunch. The food is pretty good… it doesn’t taste the same as in Indonesia, but it isn’t bad at all.I like the sate ayam, gado-gado and opor ayam lunch specials. The Martabak entree is good too.
