I’m a big fan of Noodle Cafe in Garema Place. I recently had the pleasure of joining another Canberra Foodie (Eileen, better known as @TheFoodAvenue) at her favourite inner-city affordable eatery Noodle Caf in Garema Place.Noodle Caf is located right next to HonkyTonks, so makes a convenient pre-party dinner venue as well as a great place top meet friends for a cheaper and satisfying lunch for as little as $10.The $10 lunch specials are varied and the main menu has plenty of other affordable options as well.I chose to ask if I could have an authentic beef Pho that included tripe, a delicious dish I grew to love at authentic Vietnamese restaurants around Australia. The friendly waitress obliged, even though this dish wasnt on their usual menu. It cost a few dollars more than the lunch special pho but was well worth it. cbrfoodie.org
All for the rock salt chicken. My partner (friend at the time) and I went here one night because I had to show him how amazing rock salt chicken was and it seems like not many chinese places do it.This didn’t disappoint and we keep going back once or twice a year to get our hit. allthe.me

Absolutely amazing food!The use of great quality ingrediants is shown throughout all the meals I have ordered.The quantity of individual servings are generous.Excellent service from everyone that works there. A nice family orientated business, very friendly and what I found important was the ability to customise different parts of my order due to dietary restrictions and still produce great tasting food.I would recommend their Laksa any day of the week and their chicken satay sticks are exquisite!A favourite place to dine alone, with a significant other or a big group of my friends!
It’s central, and tasty. You can be healthy or choose to pig out. Love it for eating on my own while travelling for work.
