Tried Provini, were not huge fans though. The place was very noisy and the food wasn’t anything remarkable. The highlight was probably the antipasti platter and the wine. Wasn’t keen on the Salsiccia pizza (topped with potato chips), although it seemed pretty popular with other tables.

A good meal to be had here. Came with a group. Beer came out quickly. Bruschetta was green tomatoes which three people. My grain fed steak was good but would have enjoyed more jus rather than the light drizzle. Nice find for mid-week work dinner

Provini could be so much better. I’ve been here twice, both on quiet nights. The staff seem to suffer from the modern malaise common in sub-standard restaurants, and clearly don’t give a toss about their customers. The booths to the left of the bar are the place to sit for a quiet dinner. The pasta dishes are good, but the pizza totally misses the mark. These guys think serving pizza with cold chunks of mozzarella and potato crisps instead of ‘house jacket chips’ is ok. It’s not ok Provini. Try harder. You could be a great restaurant.

I was here last night, and I really liked it. I had the pig’s head slider. the calamari and the tiramisu. The food tasted quite nice, prob one of the better italian places in Canberra. Bit disappointed with the tiramisu as it came out in a deconstructed form, with the biscuits half dunked in the cream mix, and coffee on the side. I’ll have to try this place again.

First off they need to get rid of the guy with the silly butterfly painted onto his face. Personally, I love butterflies but this waiters attitude tonight was the absolutely worst. From slamming our menu down on the table, then to forgetting our drinks and not even apologising and just plain rude. If it was a busy night that’s fine… But the place was not even half full. Then came out our food….wtf. No seasoning at all. Just really sad. I’ve had better pastas at a cafe. Complete rip off and will never return. To the owner – do yourself a favour and get rid of your disinterested waiter who is too busy grinding to 80s music and send your kitchen staff to Italy or even better get them to find a Carbonara recipe http://www.taste.com.au and you’ll be packed out every night…..
