Managed to book last minute for Xmas dinner. Was lovely! Very attentive, friendly staff. Ambiance was lovely!! Food was amazing! Good value for xmas. 3 course meal for $62 each. Servings were generous especially the mains! The only negative was the air con was a bit cold but everything else was lovely!! Would return and recommend!

Absolutely terrible we stayed in the hotel and had both breakfast and dinner.DinnerFor $33 the spinach fettuccine was terrible was barely warm and pasta was undercooked and topped with a cup of rocket with the hard stalks attached. The burger was dry and tasteless and way to thick. We order sav blanc and received chardaony for the prices and quality I cannot recommend.
We had the buffet breakfast every morning. Very popular. Always crowded at breakfast. I was surprised they had chia seeds, dried fruits and other healthy foods. The omelette chef was also very obliging. This was in addition to the scrambled eggs. Usual suspects such as bacon and sausages were present. There was a barista for the morning buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful but busy and sometimes overworked at the rush periods. Worth a visit if you are staying at the hotel.
Pretty ordinary. Tiny oysters, missed putting the garnish described on the menu on a meal. Wrong bread choice for the dukkah and oil (wouldn’t pick up the dukkah). Over-priced for what you get.
A long wait. I’ve been here twice. Once of valentines day and on Christmas day. My valentines visit was good. They were able to seat us without a reservation, and I don’t recall any issues with the food or service. However, when I went on Christmas there were a number of issues. It was later at night, so it wasn’t busy at all in the restaurant (don’t know about room service), but we waited around an hour between ordering our food and receiving it. Far too long for: 1 steak, an entree and 3 serves of chips. People who arrived well after us recieved their meals long before we did.My entree was really disappointing too. It was a cold entree, which apparently most of the entrees are, but it wasn’t advertised as being so.If I had of known I wouldn’t have ordered it, as it was a lamb chop and they aren’t my taste when cold. It also had way too much fat left on it to be served cold. The meat itself had a fine coating of fat over it, which meant it just tasted waxy and bad.I also requested they leave out the papaya it was served with, as I was in early pregnancy and shouldn’t have been eating it, and yet papaya was on the plate. Really disappointing for the price. After waiting so long and getting a meal that wasn’t properly described we were offered a choice of free dessert or 10% off our bill.
The buffet breakfast has not failed to deliever qaulity food prepared well, delievered by friendly attentive, professoinal staff. although our visit today revealed they no longer serve waffles, everything else on their extensive menu was there. the chef was there to prepare eggs and omlettes to order as was their great barista. the entire breakast staff are excellent and one of the best advertisments any business could have. the best value for quality breakfast in canberra.
