You will Enjoy this place only if you are racist.. RACIST PLACE I’VE EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE. 10 of us went to this pub for my friend’s bday, i was only asian in the group. I had been drinking before but i did not drink even a single drop of alcohol in the pub. I was left alone at some stage after like two hours i had been in the pub, bouncers came to me and told to leave because i was too drunk. Never going back to this place.
Racist boucers with poor customer service. If you are not white, prepare to be racially profiled. bouncers will treat you like a criminal even if you are not drinking. dont bother coing here unless you are white25 Apr, 2015Uni Pub Racially vilified my wife. If you are Asian do not go here. My wife was kicked out for being Asian. She did not drink at all while we were at the pub but for some reason the boucer decided she needed to leave. She co-operated with the bouncer but when I found out I asked why she was kicked out. they told me because she was drunk. I found this had t believe because she was not drinking. We will never go back to this bar while it racially vilifies it’s clients

Terrible Service. I’ve been here a few times for the $10 steaks. The first few times were very good and the steak was cooked nicely. However the last time I went I asked for a medium rare steak, but when the food came the steak was very pink, nearly purple.It was also extremely fatty, barely any meat on it at all, and I’d never had a problem with Unipub steaks before. I asked the waitress if I could get it cooked a bit more – and I’ve never done this at a restaurant before. She was very rude and unfriendly as she took it back to the kitchen. I felt that I needed to apologise. When I got it back it was the same steak – still under cooked and extremely fatty. I didn’t end up eating the steak as it was completely inedible. Overall horrible service – the girls working there are nasty. Disappointing.
Go anywhere but here.. Empirical evidence suggests that if you put rude, disrespectful bartenders, terrible DJs, arrogant bouncers and a crappy selection of overpriced drinks in a petrie dish, you get Uni Pub. A veritable Frankenstein of the Canberra pub scene, that demands cash to enter the ‘nightclub’ floor, which was full of people standing around awkwardly while the Worst Music Of All Time was blasted at 6000 decibels and the bar staff snapped and snarled at their customers. The only comfort was seeing how much those bar wenches were overpouring, which would be losing management a fair amount of cash – this soothed my vengeful spirit immensely.Just…do not go here. Unless you are trashed at your Christmas party and have lost your effing mind.
