Have been to this place a number of times. They have some really good indian street food options.Have tried many items off the menu but I like the south indian dishes more than the others.Do try their masala lemonade.
The decor of this place is so nice. We instantly felt like giving it a try. Friendly staff.Best mango lassi we’ve tasted in Australia!!! It was amazing. A total must try.The Goan prawn curry and rice wasnt great. No where close to the authentic thing. The prawns were overcooked and the curry was extra tangy and definitely extra spiced. Didn’t quite enjoy it. The chola batura was good. The batura was super fluffy and soft. Yumm.
Super authentic. Really great value. We had the two mini curries / naan/ daal platter and some chicken tikka. But what really rubbed me the wrong way was that they seated a table of 7 before they seated a table of 2 and before seating a table of 3 despite both smaller parties arriving before the larger party. Not cool.
I tried the following Dishes; Korma Biryani, Lamb Vindaloo and Lamb Biryani. None of these dishes actually impressed me. The Korma Biryani was not a good select, in fact it was very sour, not sure it was Amchoor but I returned the dish as it was rather dry too. The lamb biryani had 2 pieces of meat and the rice was over saturated with cardamon and parsely. The vindaloo was too sweet for my liking which makes me think the entire menu is south Indian (and not labelled either). Finally the ambience is terrible, they blast western pop music to the point where you drive past and think it’s a rave, I couldn’t it get a word in with my company so dont go there if you wish to chat.
