Love this little craft brewery! I stopped by after a late night at work and they took me in and fed and watered with fine food and beer. Generous helpings, delicious IPA (many others on tap too) and the staff open for a good bit of banter. Hey Alan!

Visited the Wig and Pen for my Birthday with a few colleagues. I was recommended to visit the Wig and Pen from a colleague who enjoys fine beer. There was 5 of us and it happened to be my birthday. The hand crafted beer was fabulous and we enjoyed trying the different styles. However, if you are looking for something to eat, avoid ordering from their food menu at all costs. Stick with the beer and packet chips and you won’t be disappointed!

Dingo the kitchen equipment is limited. If we give you chips the cooking oil cools down to the point we cannot serve any other meals so chips wedges are off for busy periods like Friday lunch. We have explained this to you17 Jul, 2014Tom pork pies are always served cold. Sorry you did not enjoy the Wig but what can I say. Try to get a plough mans lunch at $13.90 elsewhere with such quality

Beer was good. Food was beyond terrible. Asked the bartender what she recommends, she said all was good. Ordered the plowmans lunch and received a near frozen pork pie, the rest wasn’t much better. Not good. Will not return15 Jul, 2014Beer was great. Food was so disappointing. Asked the bar tender what was good, she said everything.. Ordered the plowmans lunch and received a pork pie that was near frozen, the rest of the plate was better by much. Would not recommend. Will not return.

Great beer, so-so food. A great selection of beer – admittedly pricey but head and shoulders above most other offerings – and a nice atmosphere. The food’s nothing to write home about, sadly. Can be very crowded late in the week.

Beer is great!! Great variety! We head there every Friday afternoon. However after having lunch a few times here I think the menu needs to be reviewed as does the fact that they WILL NOT serve wedges at lunch times. HOWEVER they will serve them when the manager isn’t there! I really think that the inconsistency in relation to the wedge situation really needs to be addressed!
