I will never come back to this place! I ordered with my partner the family bouquet (one with meat one vegetarian) and the staff heard me saying that I don’t really like much of what they offer in the vegetarian bouquet, therefore they didn’t put in my order all the food that include in the meal. My partner got a full pide and I got only three pieces of pide that was not written down on the menu etc.Moreover, we asked to have the meal at the restaurant and they decided to pack all our food to take away. Really unfriendly staff, not polite, not a clean place and very rude staff. Will never come back and will never recommend to other people on this place.
This place is the worst with its unfriendly staff, dirty cutlery and uncooked food that made us feel quite ill, I will never return here nor will I recommend it to my family, friends and/or followers, a real disappointment
Love this place. Alara’s are by far the best Turkish in Canberra! We order take away here ALOT and the quality of their food plus the awesome service is second to none. I recommend these guys to everyone.
Great pide!. Best pide I’ve had in Canberra – the bread is very light and not at all stodgy, and the fillings are really tasty! The pide is also missing the greasy bottom that a lot of pides have. This place is a massive hit in our family!
Dickson’s best kept secret. Do not look this one over when driving past, best Turkish food in the city. The dolmas and potato balls are to die for and the staff are just wonderful. We will definitely be regulars.
My regular takeout choice on the weekend. I usually get the Mixed Meat Pide and always its great! They give me some garlic sauce to dip it in and its just heavenly.Its always cooked to perfection and not oily or too dry. Just perfect! Fantastic value as well.
Quantity and Quality. So much fresh delicious food – we really enjoyed everything we ordered and have plenty left over for lunch ! And delivered with time to spare. My only one small complaint was that they put the salad in the same thermal pack as the hot food which was counterproductive anyway meaning that the hot food was not as hot and the salad not as cold as it could have been. Overall very happy – we’ll be back !
