I love this little vegan friendly cafe, but it is not for everyone. The vegan food here tastes, well, vegan, which equates to bland to many non vegetarians. Had their tofu wrap, and would have liked more dressing/sauce to bring a stronger flavour to the very bland tofu. After their valiant efforts to accommodate my request to swap ingredients from their standard menu item, I couldn’t bring myself to ask for more sauce. Their bliss balls were much better – very rich and creamy from the nuts and raw cacao, but not particularly sweet. I dislike very sweet foods, so this was great for me, but really not to my kid’s taste. The food here is very unassuming, but looks and tastes healthy. Staff very serene, calm and pleasant, a rather good testament to their Sri Chinoy background.p.s. I didn’t try their non vegan foods so maybe I might have had a different experience.
