Poor service, overpriced, really low quality, poorly cooked food. Had the octopus. Tiny portion for large price.. Charred, overcooked, chewy and tasteless.. My partner felt the same about his meal. Never again

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!. So good to have Plaka back. Missed it. Food wonderful, staff fabulous! Had my dad’s 75th birthday celebration there and it was a memorable night. Thanks Viv, Michail and staff.
Best food we have had in years! We’ll worth it!
Well worth the visit. This was the second time we visited. First was for Fathers day and on that day we thought service was a little slow. In hindsight, the place was packed and our expectations were clearly to high! This time (25 Jan 2015), we were exposed to the full force of Plaka service. Service was some of the best I have ever experienced, they bent over backwards for us,making sure we were happy with our meals etc etc. And oh, the meals. What a fantastic size, good luck trying to fit dessert in! I had the BBQ Platter and it was great. I could not recommend this restaurant enough. Use it as a daily or just for a special occassion, relax and take your time (maybe then dessert might be achievable!) and relax in very comfortable chairs and fantastic decor.
Good as ever. My husband and I had been going to the Plaka in Mawson for well over 30 years so we were hoping the menu had not changed. To our delight it hadn’t we had spaghetti marinara the Plaka favourite and beef Neptune.we have to say it was as good as ever the steaks in particular were great even though I like mine well done it was tender and juicy, my husbands steak was the best he’s had in a long while so well done Plaka we will definitely be coming back!
Went on a Tuesday night. Attentive service, the mezze platter was more than the two of us could finish and very tasty. I’ll be back.
