Best seafood steakhouse in Canberra. They serve pasta too. Service was great. You can advance order your steak cooked to your liking, so when you walk in, it will be ready to eat. Have their Diane sauce with any steak on the menu and you won’t go wrong.
I’ve been to Plaka a number of times and think it gets a bit of an unfair wrap. It’s just a pretty ordinary Greek affair. I found the dips, the bread, all the meat flavoursome, cooked well and serving sizes are generous. The service is a bit slow and on the poorer side. The pricing is modest and I think proportional to what you get. I always leave with slight mixed feelings, but if you want a quick bite of Greek food it’s not bad.
