Brilliant staff, excellent coffee, and Italian sweets, savouries, and desserts to die for. If you’re there for breakfast, easily the best eggs benny I’ve ever had.
Came here one day after lunch since I heard they had a great selection of Italian inspired pastries. The cabinet had a range of sweets from cannoli, muffins, cakes, donuts and sfogliatelle (as pictured). This Italian delight has a wonderful filling of ricotta, almond paste, and bits of orange peel and flavour which lighten the richness. The filling is encased in layers of paper-thin pastry that give a great flakiness and crunch, definitely worth coming back for. The staff were friendly and even heated up the sfogiatelle! Lovely cafe, lovely service. We love going to Sfoglia and ordering a Mocha each.It is a great atmosphere, has lovely cakes, and the nicest people working behind the counter!
Great to see the Grilled Barramundi Fillet back on the lunch menu. Don’t know exactly what magic Mario does with it in the kitchen, but it a fabulous summer lunch. New coffee (Elements) is beautiful.06 Apr, 2014Love to go to Sfoglia for great friendly service. You always get a smile here. Best mocha in Canberra and Tiramisu to die for. Lots of other great Italian sweet treats too!
