Really happy with my dinner experience here. They had really friendly prompt service and I was served tea as soon as I was seated. I had a roast duck noodle soup – portion size was generous and the dish was not too salty! The oyster sauce vegetable I had for my side dish was very tasty and of a good portion as well. During my meal, there were plenty of people coming in for takeaway. Will definitely be back for a quick cheap and decent feed.

My friend recommended this to me as ‘cheap and cheerful Chinese’, and alliteration sucks me in every time. For dinner we ordered the special stewed pork belly, stir fried bok choi with garlic sauce and batter fried squid with egg.The stewed pork belly was soft and delicious. It was perfectly balanced between sweet and savoury and the meat had absorbed the sauce well. This rated a 4.5.The bok choi, although a simple dish, was done well, with crispy veges and nice garlic flavouring. This rated a 4.The only disappointment was the batter fried squid. The squid was cooked well, but the dish needed some salt and pepper. It rated a 3. I was also glad to see that not every place in Canberra is too highly priced.

Dropped by for dinner but didn’t really enjoyed the food. I think the chef that night was allergic to salt as the congee was plain, even salted fish and chicken fried rice was plain.

The waitresses are fast and polite. Tasty rock salt pork chop and stir fried beef noodle. good portion of food. Nice place to have a quick meal.

Good prices for bbq takeaways, generous servings of food when dining in. One thing to note, they are pretty strict with takeaway food not being consumed within the restaurant itself. Sauces do have additional charges.

Roast duck tasted alright but was on the cold side. The roast sausages were delicious though. Other dishes were just average. Will return for the sausages.

We came here because it got great reviews and we weren’t disappointed. Our food was delicious and cheap and for a Sunday night, the place was packed and the front counter was busy dealing with people collecting their takeaways.
