Ordered chicken biryani with some chicken curry. While the curry was good, the biryani tasted non authentic. Biryani was more like a mix of rice and curry. Service was slow. Ambience was good.
The classic butter chicken done well. Nice and creamy. However when recommending a dish not too hot, our vegetable curry was on fire!! Service was a bit slow. There was only five tables occupied and it too 30 mins to deliver our meal. Must’ve been either a lot of takeaways, or this place would not cope full house.
Same great flavour. Just like the other branches, the Gungahlin branch delivers much of the same great flavours, welcoming service and homey atmosphere. Nothing much more to add except that being closer to me, I frequent it much more often that the city/Woden branches. We are now regulars at Flavours of India!
Great traditional flavours – the waiting staff were good and lots of customers with smiles on faces. More food than we could eat and the mixed entree was a favorite. Only a couple of slight suggestions for improving the decor – the laminate pictures on wall are tacky and why not play trad Indian music to add to the ambience? But very good food
