Fairly average dining experience at Indian Chimney. The server who served us was not very helpful with advice on portion sizes and we got irritated responses to questions, while we were trying to figure out how much to order. Having said that, it might have just been this particular server as the other two ladies who happened to be Indian were very polite.Overall, the food was of relatively good quality. However, I would say it was somewhat overpriced for the given portion sizes.

It was our pitt stop restaurant on the way to Melbourne. We didn’t have dinner but tea and snacks. By taste of it I can say lunch and dinner would also be good. Samosa and chat was nicely cooked and presented. Specially aalo tiki was coated with chat masala which was surprise to taste buds. Staff was very friendly.

The staff is friendly. The food is amazing! We had a banquet for the two of us. It’s a great value for so much food. We were so full at the end.

Had the aoloo gobhi, zeera aoloo and saffron rice which were all great though overpriced. We also had the roti veganised unfortunately it was not good at all, I’ve had amazing oily vegan roti elsewhere with satay sauce, this was just dry and plain with no sauce. Also had the pakoras which weren’t the best either. They also gave us a sauce that wasn’t vegan, it was yoghurt :(But one lady working there was trying to be very helpful and she knew what vegan meant and fixed another mistake someone else made. She’s the best 🙂
