Unlike so many other cafes and bruncheries, Mr Benedict is more than just aesthetics. Beyond looking pretty, all the food we tried here just worked. Whether it was our French toast, the Bircher meusli or the rice bowl, everything on each plate served a purpose and created a dish greater than the sum of its parts.The thought and care that went into creating the menu really shines through and I cannot recommend Mr Benedict enough to anyone stopping by in Albury!

This place is always packed and always delivers quality. The entire cafe was filled today; inside, outside, and everywhere in between. Even with the place bursting at the seams the staff were friendly, helpful, chatty and had a smile! It’s great to see as well the same staff every time we come back; we’ve been going for a couple of years now and shows the owners are good people to inspire oyalty.Today we had the French toast and the smoked trout scrambled eggs and it was scrumptious! The flavours were fantastic. The servings were the perfect size and it was hot hitting the table. The little details are what gets it over the line for me though, like the trout being folded into the scrambled eggs instead on the side. It make a a difference and shows the chef cares what they are producing.Well worth the visit, just don’t expect basic bacon and eggs dishes; these guys are better than that and are consistent with their meals. Take a chance and try something new!
The food is good but the menu never changes. Gets boring and means it’s a bit same old, same old.
